To help with this problem we are able to offer you a solution by the way of HOLLOW TINE CORE AERATION wow thats a mouthfull, but it really does work, cores every 4" about the size of a cigar are taken out of your lawn with a special machine, this will help the lawn breath, de-compact the lawn, help irrigation, which in turn will promote new root growth. I hear you say "but I already fork my lawn every year" I am sorry but all you are doing is making your lawn more compacted and pulling your back out at the same time. Golf courses tend to hollow core at regular intervals during the year as they know it works, well we can bring this process to your lawn at at a fraction of the cost, oh! and unlike a lot of our competitors we remove the cores, we do not leave them scattered all over your lawn for quickness.

SCARIFICATION

We are also able to offer you POWER SCARIFICATION. With years of neglect most lawns will build up a surface, and a sub-surface thatch layer, which will have a detromental effect to your lawn. These thatch layers are a build up dead matter and organic matter, you can usually tell if a lawn is full of thatch by its springiness, this condition also encourages fungicide and moss to grow. Thatch in a lawn will also act like a sponge holding water, preventing it from getting to the soil below. We have the answer to this problem. We will come along with our slit tine power scarifiers and take out the thatch and dead moss, bag it and take it away, however we must say that your lawn will look a mess for a short while, that is why we do this work during the winter months as it gives you lawn pleanty of time to recover whilst the grass is not growing.
